Join the Warrenville American Legion Post 589 for the 7th Annual Ruck the Ville! A ruck is a 5k military style fast walk while carrying a weighted rucksack. In this case, the rucksack will be filled with items to contribute to the Immanuel Presbyterian Church Food Pantry & Edward Hines, Jr VA Hospital. Before the Ruck, we'll have apples, bananas, coffee, donuts and water. After the Ruck, we will be serving FREE Hot Dogs with chips. The Canteen will be open for a CASH bar.
You can sign up as an individual, but are encouraging groups to sign up as teams of four for a combined weight competition! Winning TEAMS for each distance will receive a backpack! So get a group together and your competitive juices flowing for a fun morning supporting some great causes.
